General Exposition Services was started in 1992 by Jake and Lois Freas. At that time, there were only two local Trade Show Contractors serving the Philadelphia area. The trade show market was growing with the opening of the new Pennsylvania Convention Center and the area hotels were hosting a very busy Convention schedule.

General Exposition Services was established to provide the “City of Brotherly Love” with a Service Contractor whose staff and services would excel in all aspects of Trade Show Contracting.

Today, General Exposition Services is headquartered outside Philadelphia, where we have a 30,000 square foot facility (warehouse and offices) that is equipped to handle any size Trade Show or Convention throughout the USA. We have provided services to our clients in most of the major cities including: Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Orlando, Baltimore, and Dallas.

Close to home, we are one of the preferred contractors in the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Valley Forge Convention Center, Greater Philadelphia Exposition Center at Oaks, Atlantic City Convention Center, Hershey Lodge Convention Center, Harrisburg Farm Show Building, and Lancaster Convention Center.
